Victoria Pearls Name 14-Player Squad for Home Victoria Series
Uganda's Victoria Pearls have named a 14-player squad, plus two reserves, for the Victoria Series at Entebbe from November 6 to 14.

Uganda's women's national team, the Victoria Pearls, have confirmed their squad for the 2026 Victoria Series, which runs from November 6 to 14 at the Entebbe Cricket Oval. Captain Janet Mbabazi will lead a 14-player group, with two reserves, into a home tournament featuring regional rivals Rwanda, long-time adversaries Namibia and the United States. The headline inclusion is 23-year-old batter Kampi Nainhabo, who is in line for her international debut after developing through the Victorian domestic pathway in Australia. Naume Amongin and wicketkeeper Kevin Awino return after missing the trip to Windhoek in July, while Phiona Egaru Kulume, Jimia Abdallah Muhammed and Irene Mutonyi drop out of the main squad, with Kulume retained as a reserve alongside Lorna Anyait. The full squad reads: Mbabazi (captain), Stephanie Nampiina, Proscovia Alako, Ritah Musamali, Esther Iloku, Immaculate Nakisuyi, Awino, Malisa Ariokot, Sarah Walaza, Amongin, Consylate Aweko Nimungu, Sarah Akiteng, Asumin Akurut and Nainhabo. The series forms part of Uganda's build-up to the 2027 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier finals, where the Pearls will again meet familiar regional opposition, and home advantage at Entebbe will be central to their preparations.
