UFC 335 Locked In: Oliveira Defends BMF Belt Against Lopes as Pereira Meets Pavlovich

The UFC has set the stage for its final numbered event of 2026. During Saturday's UFC 332 broadcast, the promotion announced that Charles Oliveira will defend the BMF title against Diego Lopes in the main event of UFC 335 on December 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Oliveira captured the symbolic belt with a unanimous decision win over Max Holloway at UFC 326 in March and now makes his first defense.

Lopes, a two-time featherweight title challenger, is moving up to lightweight for the first time. The 31-year-old Brazilian rebounded from a second title loss to Alexander Volkanovski with a second-round knockout of Steve Garcia at UFC Freedom 250 in June — and a BMF crown would be his first UFC belt.

The co-main event is just as heavy with consequence. Former two-division champion Alex Pereira makes his second heavyweight appearance against Sergei Pavlovich in a five-round non-title bout. Pereira suffered a stoppage loss to Ciryl Gane in June in his bid to become the first three-division UFC champion, and Pavlovich — on a three-fight winning streak and fresh off a 39-second demolition of Tallison Teixeira — is a brutal second test.

The card also features Bo Nickal against No. 4 middleweight Joe Pyfer and Brandon Moreno against Charles Johnson, giving December's finale a stacked look from top to bottom.
