Tucker's Postseason Turnaround Earns Him a Place on MLB's All-Postseason Team

Kyle Tucker has been rewarded for his October resurgence with a place on MLB's All-Postseason Team, named in right field after emerging as the Los Angeles Dodgers' most productive hitter in the playoffs. Tucker hit .333 with a .419 on-base percentage and a .519 slugging mark across 31 plate appearances, adding two doubles, one home run and two runs batted in while reaching base safely in all eight of his postseason games.

The honour caps a remarkable turnaround. Tucker had underperformed for much of the regular season after joining the Dodgers on a record-setting contract before the 2026 campaign, finishing at .233 with 17 home runs and 70 runs batted in across 154 games. But when October arrived, he finally looked like the player Los Angeles expected.

Several players from the World Series-champion Milwaukee Brewers also made the team, including William Contreras, Jake Bauers, Brice Turang, Cooper Pratt and Jackson Chourio, alongside San Diego's Manny Machado, Atlanta's Michael Harris II and the Yankees' Ben Rice. The Dodgers were swept by Milwaukee in the National League Championship Series, but Tucker's October form gives them something genuine to build on for next season.
