Till Accuses Cormier of Biased, Inauthentic UFC Commentary

Darren Till has added his voice to the growing criticism of Daniel Cormier's commentary. The former UFC welterweight title challenger, who parted ways with the promotion in 2023, told The Ariel Helwani Show that he sees through Cormier's approach to analysing fights, accusing the Hall of Famer of bias and inauthentic analysis. Till claimed Cormier goes easy on fighters connected to the Nurmagomedov camp, and pointed to Cormier's defence of Usman Nurmagomedov rushing the cage at UFC Shanghai earlier this year as an example of questionable commentary. Till acknowledged Cormier's credentials as a fighter, calling him one of the best ever, while insisting he has no patience for what he views as dishonest analysis. Cormier has faced mounting criticism from multiple fighters in recent weeks, and he has not responded to Till's comments as of this writing. He is scheduled to work as a lead analyst at UFC 334 later this month, which features a heavyweight title fight between Ciryl Gane and Josh Hokit at Madison Square Garden on November 14. The criticism is a separate interview topic from Till's earlier remarks about being passed over for the Jake Paul fight and his BKFC talks, and it keeps the former Liverpool contender firmly in the headlines during a busy week for combat sports.
