Robert Thomas and Philip Broberg each had a goal and two assists as St. Louis beat Boston 4-1 on Thursday, with Joel Hofer making 31 saves.

The St. Louis Blues ended a two-game scoring drought in style on Thursday, beating the Boston Bruins 4-1 at Enterprise Center. Robert Thomas and Philip Broberg each recorded a goal and two assists, Jimmy Snuggerud and Jake Neighbours also scored, and Joel Hofer made 31 saves, including 14 in the third period, as St. Louis finished a five-game homestand at 3-2-0. Boston had led early through James Hagens at 5:28 of the first period, but Snuggerud tied it before the break and Broberg and Thomas struck in the second to put the Blues in control, with Neighbours sealing it on the power play in the third. The defeat ended Boston's eight-game point streak and completed a winless two-game road trip, despite the Bruins outshooting St. Louis 32-18. It was also St. Louis's first home win over Boston since Game 4 of the 2019 Stanley Cup Final. The Blues improved to 6-6-1, while the Bruins fell to 9-4-1 ahead of Saturday's Halloween home game against Chicago.
