TGL Expansion Team Motor City Golf Club Lands Jackson Koivun

Detroit's new TGL franchise has landed a signature young star. Motor City Golf Club has signed Jackson Koivun for its inaugural season in the tech-infused indoor league at the SoFi Center, adding one of the most decorated young Americans in the game. Koivun's resume needs little embellishment: the former world No. 1 amateur and Auburn standout was the only unbeaten American at the recent Presidents Cup, and he beat Scottie Scheffler at the 3M Open in just his third start as a professional. His blend of power and poise has marked him as a future star of the sport. For an expansion team building its identity from scratch, Koivun is a statement signing — a young, marketable talent who can anchor the franchise on and off the simulator screen as TGL's newest market tries to make its mark. With expansion franchises among the hottest properties in golf, Motor City's move signals serious intent ahead of the new season.
