Talbott Destroys Figueiredo in Round One, Calls Out O'Malley
Payton Talbott scored a first-round TKO over former champion Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 332 and demanded a fight with Sean O'Malley.

Payton Talbott made the biggest statement of his career at UFC 332 on Saturday, running through former two-time champion Deiveson Figueiredo for a first-round TKO in the co-main event in Salt Lake City. The 28-year-old bantamweight (12-1, 6-1 UFC) was utterly dominant, and immediately called out former champion Sean O'Malley.
Daniel Cormier was effusive on commentary, calling Talbott "a real problem for everybody in the UFC bantamweight division," while Jon Anik tipped him as a future world champion. "He's huge, he's confident, he can knock you out," Cormier said. "Every time he comes to the octagon, he's better."
Talbott revealed talks had taken place about facing O'Malley at UFC Freedom 250, though O'Malley denied those claims. Whether or not that fight materialises, Talbott has forced himself into the title conversation — and few in the division will be eager to answer the call.
