The Springbok Women finished their tour on a high. South Africa beat Spain 20-0 at the Estadio Olímpico de la Cartuja in Seville on Sunday, closing out their WXV Global Series campaign with their second win of the tournament.

Tries from Catha Jacobs, Aseza Hele and Jakkie Cilliers built a 15-0 halftime lead, and the Bok defense did the rest — keeping the hosts scoreless in the first women's international ever played in Seville, played at midday in brutal heat. Lock Vainah Ubisi was named Player of the Match as South Africa's scrum dominated the set piece.

"We are very proud of the ladies," said co-head coach Franzel September. The win came despite disruption: Babalwa Latsha went off with an ankle injury and Nombuyekezo Mdliki left on a stretcher. September said the medical reports would follow, but the squad's focus now shifts to two home matches against Ireland in Cape Town later this month.
