Smith Vows to Settle Holland Feud Ahead of UFC Vegas 123 Return
Undefeated welterweight Jacobe Smith says he still wants Kevin Holland on his record after two cancelled bookings, as he prepares to face Randy Brown at UFC Vegas 123 on Saturday.

Undefeated welterweight Jacobe Smith has made it clear that his unfinished business with Kevin Holland is far from over. Smith, 13-0 with all four of his UFC opponents finished inside the distance, says he wants the win over Holland on his record and has predicted a confrontation outside the cage over direct messages Holland has sent him. The pair were scheduled to meet twice — first at UFC Oklahoma City in July and then at UFC 332 on October 3 in Salt Lake City — and Holland withdrew from both dates with injuries, leaving Smith frustrated and the rivalry simmering. For now, though, Smith has a fight of his own to handle. He faces Randy Brown (20-8) on Saturday at UFC Vegas 123 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, a bout that offers him the chance to extend his perfect record and keep his name in the welterweight conversation. Holland, meanwhile, is booked against Uros Medic at UFC 334 on November 14 at Madison Square Garden. If both men win, the clamour for their twice-delayed meeting will only grow louder — and Smith, for one, sounds ready to settle it wherever it happens.
