Rice Set to Return for Chiefs Against Broncos as Three Defenders Remain Questionable

The Kansas City Chiefs will get a major offensive boost for Sunday's rematch with the Denver Broncos as wide receiver Rashee Rice is set to return from a hamstring injury. Rice has not played since injuring his hamstring against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4, missing Kansas City's last two games, but he was a full participant in Friday's practice and carries no game designation. He has recorded 13 catches for 190 yards and a touchdown in four appearances this season, and his return gives Patrick Mahomes another reliable target against a Denver defence that could have top cornerback Patrick Surtain II back after three missed games. Kansas City's defence remains a concern, however, with L'Jarius Sneed, Mansoor Delane and R Mason Thomas all questionable, while defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott is out. Denver have their own injury worries: safety Talanoa Hufanga and running back RJ Harvey are ruled out, while defensive lineman Zach Allen, left tackle Garett Bolles, safety Brandon Jones and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle are all questionable for the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff at Empower Field at Mile High.
