The Boston Red Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks led the 2026 Rawlings Gold Glove Awards with three winners apiece when the honours were announced on Sunday night. Boston's trio was right fielder Wilyer Abreu, who won for a third straight year, centre fielder Ceddanne Rafaela, a second straight winner, and first-time third base winner Caleb Durbin. Arizona matched them through catcher Gabriel Moreno, who claimed his second Gold Glove and his first since 2023, and first-time winners Geraldo Perdomo at shortstop and Corbin Carroll in right field. Elsewhere, Houston's Christian Walker and Atlanta's Matt Olson each won for a fourth time, while Mets rookie Nolan McLean became the first rookie pitcher in history to win a Gold Glove. Milwaukee's Brice Turang won his second, as did the Cubs pair of Alex Bregman and Pete Crow-Armstrong. The Cardinals and Blue Jays, by contrast, were shut out despite three and five finalists respectively. Winners are chosen by managers and coaches, who cannot vote for their own players, with the SABR Defensive Index counting for 25 percent of the vote.
