Panthers Lock In Leuluai-Going and Ale for 2027 After NSW Cup Title Run
Penrith have re-signed Kalani Leuluai-Going and Tom Ale for 2027 after their key roles in the club's NSW Cup title.

Penrith have moved to secure their depth for 2027, confirming the re-signing of Kiwi pair Kalani Leuluai-Going and Tom Ale for next season. Both players joined the Panthers from the New Zealand Warriors in 2026 and played key roles in the club's charge to the NSW Cup title, and the club was delighted to keep them at the foot of the mountains. Leuluai-Going made his club debut in Round 1 of the 2026 NRL season as Panther No. 637, while Ale arrived at Penrith with 41 NRL appearances to his name and quickly became a core member of the squad. Panthers rugby league general manager Shane Elford welcomed the double retention, saying the club was delighted to have both players locked in. The announcement comes days before the NRL free agency window opens on November 1 and follows a busy week of Panthers recruitment, with the club building a squad capable of competing at both NRL and NSW Cup level next season. For Leuluai-Going and Ale, the new deals reward a season of consistent, hard-working football.
