Moicano and Nolan Make Weight as Marshall Misses by Two Pounds at UFC Vegas 123 Weigh-Ins
Renato Moicano and Tom Nolan both hit their marks for Saturday's UFC Vegas 123 main event, but Francis Marshall missed the featherweight limit by two pounds.

Saturday's UFC Vegas 123 main event is officially on. Renato Moicano and Tom Nolan both made weight on Friday morning at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, clearing the final hurdle before their five-round lightweight headliner. Moicano tipped the scales at 156 pounds, while Nolan registered 155.5 pounds for his first UFC main event. Co-headliners Randy Brown and Jacobe Smith also hit the same target, weighing 170.5 pounds each for their welterweight collision. Of the 24 fighters scheduled for the card, all but one made their contracted weights. The exception was featherweight Francis Marshall, who came in at 148 pounds — two pounds over the non-title limit — for his bout against Dakota Hope. Marshall will forfeit 20 percent of his fight purse as a result. Hope, who accepted the matchup on short notice after Gaston Bolanos withdrew with an eye injury, successfully made weight at 145.5 pounds. The card streams on Paramount+, with prelims beginning at 5 p.m. ET and the main card at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday. Moicano, 37, returns on the back of a dominant submission win over Chris Duncan, while the 26-year-old Nolan looks to defeat a UFC mainstay and start taking on the division's biggest names.
