MLB Pushes NLCS Game 4 Back an Hour After Shifting ALCS Game 3 to Afternoon Over Weather
The NLCS Game 4 start time at Dodger Stadium was moved an hour later to avoid overlapping broadcasts, a domino effect of MLB shifting Thursday's ALCS Game 3 to a 1 p.m. ET matinee because of forecasted rain in Cleveland.

MLB's playoff schedule reshuffle continued on Wednesday, as Thursday's NLCS Game 4 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers was pushed back an hour to avoid overlapping with the rescheduled American League Championship Series game earlier in the day.
The changes began when the league moved ALCS Game 3 between the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians from its original 6 p.m. ET start to a 1 p.m. ET matinee on Thursday at Progressive Field. MLB said the move was made proactively because of forecasted rain in Cleveland on Thursday night; the ALCS is tied 1-1, and Games 3 through 5 are set for Cleveland's open-air ballpark.
With the ALCS now playing in daylight, the league shifted Game 4 of the NLCS at Dodger Stadium one hour later than originally planned so the two broadcasts would not collide. The Dodgers enter Thursday down 2-0 to Milwaukee in the best-of-seven series after dropping both games at American Family Field, making Game 4 — now scheduled for Thursday night — a pivotal contest for the two-time defending champions.
Fans holding tickets to the ALCS Game 3 can use the same tickets for the afternoon start, with Progressive Field's gates opening at 11 a.m. ET and parking passes automatically transferred to the new time.
