Mickey Guyton to Sing Anthem, Yount and Selig to Throw First Pitch for World Series Game 1
MLB revealed its pregame lineup for tonight's Fall Classic opener, with four-time Grammy nominee Mickey Guyton singing the anthem and Brewers icon Robin Yount joining former commissioner Bud Selig for the ceremonial first pitch.

The 2026 World Series will open with a fitting dose of Milwaukee history. MLB announced Friday that four-time Grammy nominee and country singer Mickey Guyton will perform the national anthem before Game 1 between the Brewers and Rays at American Family Field, with Kylie Cantrall — the Disney "Descendants" star — taking the microphone before Game 2 on Saturday.
The ceremonial first pitch will be a reunion for Brewers fans: Hall of Fame shortstop Robin Yount and former MLB commissioner Bud Selig, the former Brewers owner, will participate before tonight's opener. Hall of Famer Paul Molitor will handle the honor for Game 2.
Guyton, whose debut album "Remember Her Name" earned Grammy nominations for Best Country Album, Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance, adds star power to a night that already has plenty of meaning in Wisconsin. Neither the Brewers nor the Rays has ever won a World Series, guaranteeing a first-time champion. Game 1 begins at 8:08 p.m. ET on Fox, with Milwaukee's flame-throwing ace Jacob Misiorowski facing Tampa Bay's Nick Martinez in what could be the first all-indoor World Series game under the American Family Field roof.
