McIlroy Signs Multiyear DP World Partnership With Traveling Recovery Trailers Ahead of India Championship

Rory McIlroy has signed a multiyear global partnership with DP World, the Dubai-based logistics giant, in a deal that goes well beyond a logo on a sleeve. Announced in New Delhi on October 13, the agreement makes the six-time major champion a global ambassador for the company, while DP World becomes his exclusive partner for logistics and supply chain around the world.

The centerpiece of the deal is a traveling performance setup: two personalized fitness and recovery trailers that will accompany McIlroy to every stop on his PGA Tour and DP World Tour schedules. DP World will manage every stage of their journeys, from collection and customs clearance to storage and delivery, so the equipment is ready when his team arrives. Each trailer carries strength and cardio machines, an infrared sauna, a cold plunge pool and a Hyperice recovery station, giving McIlroy a familiar training environment in every time zone.

McIlroy said consistency is what matters most when competing across continents, and having the same setup each week removes one more thing for him and his team to think about. The announcement came two days before he tees off at the DP World India Championship at Delhi Golf Club, the October 15-18 event with a $4 million purse, where he plays the first two rounds alongside defending champion Tommy Fleetwood and Robert MacIntyre. A seven-time Race to Dubai champion, McIlroy trails Patrick Reed in this year's standings.
