Maycee Barber Returns Against Rising Carli Judice as UFC 335 Adds Two More Fights
Maycee Barber faces four-fight streaker Carli Judice in a pivotal women's flyweight bout at UFC 335, returning for the first time since her March loss to Alexa Grasso.

The UFC's year-end card is filling out. The promotion announced on Wednesday that former title challenger Maycee Barber will take on rising contender Carli Judice in a women's flyweight matchup at UFC 335 on December 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
For Barber, it is the comeback that matters most. The 28-year-old had a seven-fight winning streak snapped in March when Alexa Grasso flattened her in the first round of what was expected to be a number-one contender fight — a finish Dana White later called one of the greatest in the sport's history. Barber previously held wins over Amanda Ribas, Katlyn Cerminara and Karine Silva, and a victory here would put her back in the title conversation behind newly crowned champion Natalia Silva.
Judice, though, is the most dangerous kind of opponent. The 25-year-old is riding a four-fight winning streak, with three of those wins coming by strikes, including a 69-second body-kick finish of Jeisla Chaves in August. Despite being ranked 15th, she has already banked four performance bonuses in five UFC fights — beating Barber would be the biggest win of her career and push her into the division's top ten.
UFC 335 is headlined by Charles Oliveira defending the BMF belt against Diego Lopes, with Alex Pereira facing Sergei Pavlovich in the heavyweight co-main event.
