Bournemouth kept their perfect Europa League record intact on Thursday night, dismantling 10-man AC Milan 3-0 at Vitality Stadium in a match that turned on one moment of goalkeeper madness.

The Cherries struck first in the eighth minute when Justin Kluivert buried a penalty after an early error from Koni De Winter. But the defining moment arrived in the 27th minute. With Bournemouth lining up for a corner, Tyler Adams positioned himself in front of Mike Maignan — and the Milan goalkeeper responded with a two-handed shove straight into the American midfielder's face.

Adams went to ground, and referee Vassilis Fotias immediately reached for his back pocket, producing a straight red card that stood after a VAR check. The spot kick stood too: Adams picked up a yellow for his part in the melee, backup goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani was thrown on, and Marcus Tavernier coolly converted the penalty to double Bournemouth's lead.

Milan, with coach Ruben Amorim watching on, never recovered. Amine Adli sealed the rout in the 84th minute, bending a free kick through a split Milan wall to make it 3-0. Yunus Musah started in midfield against his USMNT teammate Adams, while Christian Pulisic remained on the Milan bench.

Elsewhere in the league phase, Juventus surrendered a lead to draw 2-2 with Rennes, while Bayer Leverkusen moved top of the table after Jonas Hofmann's brace secured a 2-0 win at OFI Crete.
