Lobov Accuses McGregor of Breaking Promises to Coaches and Teammates

Artem Lobov has launched a fresh attack on his former training partner Conor McGregor, accusing the former two-division UFC champion of systematically failing to look after the coaches and teammates who helped build his career. Writing on social media, Lobov claimed McGregor broke financial promises to several members of his inner circle, including paying head coach John Kavanagh only a fraction of what had been agreed from the Floyd Mayweather fight, and paying other long-time associates far below what they were owed. Lobov, who settled a multimillion-dollar lawsuit with McGregor last year over the Proper 12 whiskey brand, also alleged that McGregor fired a teammate weeks before Christmas and shorted a training partner on a promised camp payment. He blamed drugs and alcohol for the deterioration of the relationship. McGregor has not publicly responded to the latest allegations. The two men were once inseparable, with Lobov a constant presence in McGregor's corner during his rise to global stardom, but their relationship has collapsed in public in recent years. Lobov's latest claims add another bitter chapter to one of mixed martial arts' most public fallouts, and they land as McGregor continues to pursue a return to competition.
