LIV Golfers Miss Out as DP World Tour Q School Final Stage Field Is Set
All four LIV golfers who reached the second stage of DP World Tour Q School failed to advance, with Yosuke Asaji missing by a single shot and Luis Masaveu left as first alternate.

The DP World Tour Q School final stage will go ahead without the four LIV golfers who battled through the second stage last weekend in Spain, after all of them fell short. Yosuke Asaji came closest, carding four straight rounds of three-under-par at Desert Springs in Almería to finish tied 21st at 12 under, just one shot shy of the qualifying mark. Michael La Sasso, who weeks earlier won LIV's final event of 2026 in Indianapolis for $4 million, finished tied 64th at five under at the same venue. Sam Horsfield's week at Isla Canela Links in Huelva ended in a tie for 52nd at three under. The final LIV competitor, Luis Masaveu, was one of six players to finish on 12 under at Las Pinillas in Albacete, but missed out in a Monday playoff for the last four spots — although he will tee it up in the finale on Thursday as first alternate. Eighty players advanced to the six-round final stage at Infinitum Golf in Tarragona, where 15 DP World Tour cards are on offer. The results come amid continued uncertainty over LIV's future, with the league's proposed 2.0 plans still unannounced after an October 30 deadline passed.
