Lazio Come From Behind to Beat Cagliari and Go Three Points Clear as Juventus Ease Past Napoli
Lazio recovered from an early deficit to beat Cagliari 2-1 and open a three-point lead at the top of Serie A, while Juventus beat Napoli 2-0 in Turin.

Lazio took full advantage of Inter Milan's derby defeat by coming from behind to beat Cagliari 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, moving three points clear at the top of Serie A. The visitors stunned the home crowd when M'Bala Nzola struck in the 21st minute, but Gustav Isaksen levelled nine minutes before half-time with a delicate finish from the edge of the area. Lazio kept pressing after the break and were rewarded in the 83rd minute, when Andrea Pinamonti headed home after Alfonso Pedraza hooked Isaksen's cross back across goal. Cagliari finished with ten men after Adam Obert was sent off for a second yellow card late on. The win was Lazio's ninth in their first ten league matches, their best-ever start to a season, and took them to 28 points, three ahead of second-placed Inter. Coach Gennaro Gattuso still urged caution, warning his players not to be distracted by the standings. Later on Sunday, Juventus eased the pressure on coach Luciano Spalletti with a 2-0 home win over Napoli, striking twice in the final 20 minutes. Kerim Alajbegovic opened the scoring in the 70th minute with a powerful drive into the top corner, and Juventus added a second late on to climb to seventh on 17 points, three ahead of eighth-placed Napoli.
