Lakers Edge Kings 114-110 in First Home Preseason Game
The Lakers held off a fourth-quarter Kings surge to win 114-110 at Crypto.com Arena in their first home game of preseason.

The Los Angeles Lakers gave the Crypto.com Arena faithful a closer look at their new squad on Thursday night, edging the Sacramento Kings 114-110 in their first home game of preseason.
An 18,350-strong crowd watched the Lakers move to 2-1, though the finish was far tighter than it looked for much of the night. The Kings, down 16 at halftime, poured in 40 fourth-quarter points to 28 from the hosts and cut the gap to four before falling short. Sacramento dropped to 0-2.
It was the second meeting between the sides this preseason — the Lakers also won the first, 127-103 in Sacramento on October 5. Rookie Dalton Knecht sat out with a contusion, with his next chance to return coming on Tuesday, October 13, when the Lakers face the Warriors in Las Vegas.
