Kane Equals Shilton's 125-Cap Record With Brace as England Beat Czechia 3-0

Harry Kane marked his record-equalling 125th England appearance with a trademark double as England swept aside Czechia 3-0 in the UEFA Nations League at Wembley on Tuesday night. England's opener arrived in the 27th minute in bizarre fashion, when Czech defender Vladimir Coufal steered Kane's cross into his own net. The captain then ensured the night belonged to him: just before half-time, he dispatched a clinical finish from Morgan Rogers' first-time cross, the move launched by Elliot Anderson's long ball. Kane completed his brace in the 57th minute, rising at the back post to head Lewis Hall's corner home for his 91st international goal. The brace took Kane to 91 international goals on a landmark night for England's captain. The result puts England on nine points in League A3, three behind leaders Spain, who sealed their quarter-final place with a 2-1 comeback win over Croatia in Split, and leaves England all but certain of joining them in the last eight. Czechia remain pointless in the group.
