Jeanty Questionable for Patriots Clash After Missing Friday Practice
Raiders star running back Ashton Jeanty is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots with ankle and foot injuries, putting his perfect attendance streak on the line.

The Las Vegas Raiders may have to face the New England Patriots on Sunday without their most explosive offensive weapon. Star running back Ashton Jeanty is officially listed as questionable with ankle and foot injuries, and his availability for the weekend is genuinely in doubt after a practice week that trended in the wrong direction.
Jeanty was a full participant in Wednesday's session, was limited on Thursday, and did not practice at all on Friday — the kind of regression that usually signals a player is closer to out than in. The second-year back has never missed an NFL game in his career, playing through his entire rookie season and the first four games of this one.
If Jeanty cannot go, the Raiders would turn to rookie Mike Washington Jr., a fourth-round pick from the 2026 draft. Washington has barely featured so far, totaling 120 rushing yards, but he did find the end zone for his first NFL touchdown in the Week 3 win over New Orleans. It would be a massive jump in responsibility for the rookie on short notice.
Jeanty's absence would be especially painful given his production: 264 rushing yards and 165 receiving yards with two receiving touchdowns through four games, though he is still hunting for his first rushing score of the season. The Patriots are not the worst possible matchup for whichever back lines up — New England will be missing several players on both sides of the ball, including four cornerbacks and linebacker Christian Elliss, one of its leading tacklers. But losing Jeanty would still take a major bite out of Las Vegas' game plan.
