Jake Paul Books Christmas Eve Comeback Fight in Dubai
Jake Paul will return to boxing on December 24 in Dubai, Most Valuable Promotions announced on Thursday, with his opponent still to be named.

Jake Paul is stepping back into the ring. The 29-year-old has been booked to fight on December 24 in Dubai, Most Valuable Promotions announced on Thursday, marking his return after almost a year on the sidelines. His opponent has yet to be named, and no venue or broadcast partner has been confirmed, with further details expected in the coming weeks. Paul has not fought since he had his jaw broken in a loss to Anthony Joshua in December 2025. In a statement, he said he is "hungrier than ever" and ready to begin the "next chapter of my journey." He added: "I've spent years proving people wrong, taking risks, and pushing myself against opponents nobody thought I'd face. We've got plenty of names on the list; let's see who signs the contract. Merry Christmas, Dubai. Santa Paul is coming to town, and somebody's getting knocked out." The December 24 bout will not be on Netflix, according to reports, and will be Paul's first professional fight in Dubai. Paul holds a 12-2 record in boxing, with his only losses coming to Joshua and Tommy Fury, and wins over Mike Tyson, Mike Perry, Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley among others. He has previously said he wants to fight the likes of Conor McGregor, Canelo Alvarez, Francis Ngannou and Darren Till.
