Jacksonville starting left tackle Anton Harrison is out for the rest of the 2026 season after Thursday knee surgery revealed a torn ACL, a far worse outcome than the minor cleanup the Jaguars had hoped for.

Jaguars Suffer Blindside Blow as Anton Harrison's Torn ACL Ends His Season

The Jacksonville Jaguars have lost their starting left tackle for the remainder of the 2026 season after a routine surgery revealed far more serious damage than expected.

Anton Harrison, the 2023 first-round pick, had injured his right knee during Jacksonville's Week 5 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in London and was already on injured reserve. The team hoped Thursday's procedure would be a minor arthroscopic cleanup, but NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday that surgeons discovered a torn ACL — ending any chance of Harrison returning this season.

The blow is especially significant because Harrison moved from right tackle to left tackle during the offseason to protect the quarterback's blind side, starting every game at the position before going down.

Walker Little, who stepped in against Philadelphia and started at left tackle against Houston in Week 6, is expected to hold down the spot for the rest of the season as Jacksonville reshuffles its offensive line.
