The Jacksonville Jaguars are weighing their options in the trade market after losing nose tackle DaVon Hamilton to a season-ending injury. Hamilton tore his quadriceps during Sunday's 42-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts and, while further testing was still to come, early indications were that he will miss the rest of the season. The blow lands at a difficult moment for a team sitting at 5-2 and top of the AFC South with ten games still to play, and with ambitions of a deep run that Hamilton's presence in the middle of the defensive line was central to. Jacksonville will first look in-house for a replacement, but the trade deadline on November 10 gives the club a chance to add experience from outside. Among the names suggested as fits are Tampa Bay's A'Shawn Robinson, a 31-year-old on a one-year deal who could be available for a fifth-round pick, Dallas youngster Otito Ogbonnia, and Arizona's Roy Lopez. None of those moves would fully replace what Hamilton brings, but with the Jaguars all in on this season, standing still is not an option the front office can afford.
