Jack Drops Isannuea Twice in Final Round to Win ONE Friday Fights 177 Main Event
For two rounds, it looked like Isannuea Sor Sasiwat might spoil the homecoming.

For two rounds, it looked like Isannuea Sor Sasiwat might spoil the homecoming. Then Jack Siatanyokkrok PK changed his stance, changed the fight, and changed the ending. The bantamweight Muay Thai main event of ONE Friday Fights 177, fought on Friday night at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, had been tight and tense through six minutes. Isannuea, sharp and disciplined, had done enough to keep the veteran guessing. But in the third and final round, Jack stepped out as a southpaw, measured his man with the jab, and let the right hook go. It landed clean near the ropes, and Isannuea went down. He beat the count. He did not survive the round. Jack pressed straight back in, another punching attack sent Isannuea to the canvas for a second time, and by the final bell there was no argument left. The judges scored it a unanimous decision for Jack, who lifted his career record to 73-30, according to ONE Championship, and made it three wins in the promotion. It was a return worth waiting for. Jack had been away from the ONE Friday Fights stage, and the main event slot on a nine-bout card is not handed out lightly. The Thai veteran carried himself like a man who understood exactly what was at stake, and when the fight started slipping away from him, he reached for the adjustment that saved it. Switching stances late in a fight is a gamble — it can leave a fighter open, off-balance, a step slow. For Jack, it did the opposite. The southpaw jab gave him the range he had been missing, and the right hook off it found the target twice. Isannuea deserves credit for the fight he fought. He weighed in a fraction heavier, 136.8 pounds to Jack's 136.4, and for two rounds he matched the veteran strike for strike. But his ONE record now reads four wins against five defeats, and this one will sting — not because he was outclassed, but because he was two rounds from a win and watched it disappear in ninety seconds of chaos. The rest of the card delivered its own fireworks. In the co-main event, Superball Sitcho announced himself on the global stage in the most emphatic way possible, stopping Saksri Superlek Muaythai with a liver shot at 1:42 of the opening round of their flyweight Muay Thai contest. Superball, now 71-30, picked up a 350,000-baht performance bonus for the finish. Elsewhere on the card, Bos Chayut stopped Kentaro Okumura by technical knockout at 1:21 of round three in their bantamweight MMA bout. The Friday Fights session closed a long night at Lumpinee. Earlier in the evening, the separate Inner Circle 37 card had seen Tye Ruotolo submit Christian Lee in just over two minutes to claim the ONE lightweight MMA title — a result already reported. Friday Fights 177 was its own show, its own crowd, its own story, and Jack made sure it had its own ending: a veteran, a switch of stance, and two knockdowns when it mattered most.
