Internet Invitational Halves Field as $4 Million Creator Event Reaches Playoffs
The Internet Invitational cut its 64-player field to 32 after Episode 2's alternate-shot matches, with Team White winning a sudden-death playoff at Ozarks National.

The Internet Invitational has halved its field as the $4 million creator golf event heads into its playoff stage. The tournament, expanded from a $1 million purse at its inaugural 2025 edition, began with 64 players across four teams captained by Brad Dalke, Wesley Bryan, Peter Finch and Ryan Ruffels. After alternate-shot matches on the back nine at Ozarks National at Big Cedar Lodge, two 16-player squads were sent home in Episode 2. Wesley Bryan's Team Green beat Brad Dalke's Team Red 10.5 to 5.5, while Team Blue and Team White finished tied 8-8, forcing a sudden-death playoff. Both sides matched pars on the first extra hole before Team White advanced on the second, when Grant Horvat hit an approach from a fairway bunker to 22 feet and Big John Lancewicz converted the birdie putt. The remaining 32 players are now chasing the Cody 'Beef' Franke Trophy, with the six-part YouTube series airing Mondays and Thursdays at 1 p.m. ET and the final episode scheduled for November 12.
