Hearn Meets Tsarukyan in Marbella in Latest Blow to Dana White

Eddie Hearn could be about to deal Dana White another blow after sharing a photo of a meeting with one of the UFC's biggest stars. The Matchroom Boxing chief posted a picture on Instagram of his meeting with lightweight fighter Arman Tsarukyan in Marbella, where Hearn was visiting ahead of Anthony Joshua's blockbuster bout with fellow British heavyweight Tyson Fury in December. The 30-year-old Tsarukyan boasts a 23-2 record and is on a six-fight winning streak, leaving his place as the next lightweight title challenger all but certain. It is no secret that Hearn and UFC president White are not particularly fond of each other, with the pair regularly exchanging blows online, particularly after White signed Conor Benn, who had worked closely with Hearn, to Zuffa Boxing. Hearn has responded by adding former UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall and welterweight star Ian Machado Garry to his talent agency, and his business with the UFC's biggest names does not appear to be done there. The photo comes just days after Hearn tore into White following the revelation that Zuffa had terminated its contract with multiple-weight world champion Shakur Stevenson before he had even fought once.
