Hearn Claims TKO Offered Joshua $10M to Be Involved in Fury Superfight as White Fires Back
The war of words over who controls December's Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua Cardiff superfight escalated on Tuesday, with Eddie Hearn claiming TKO offered Joshua around $10 million to be involved — and Dana White responding that he is both promoting and producing the fight.

Eddie Hearn used a Tuesday appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show to reveal that TKO had tried to buy its way into the Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua superfight, claiming a representative approached a member of Joshua's team with a written proposal of around $10 million — a figure Hearn confirmed when Helwani asked if it was "somewhere in the $10 million range." According to Hearn, the offer also involved moving the fight from Cardiff to Madison Square Garden in New York, but Joshua turned it down and wants the fight in the UK. The Matchroom Boxing chief has been steadfast that Joshua's contract prohibits White, Zuffa Boxing, or parent company TKO from any involvement, insisting that any participation would be "contractually impossible" without changing the agreement. Yet Hearn opened the door to a deal, saying: "I think if we can reach a deal that's beneficial for me, AJ and Matchroom, I think they could potentially be involved." He has meetings planned with Netflix and Saudi backer Sela in Los Angeles this week. Hours later, after Dana White's Contender Series 95 in Las Vegas, White delivered his own rebuttal. "What's the confusion? Everything that I have said is true," he said, adding: "I am producing the fight. I am promoting the fight." The dispute began when a Netflix-issued press release named White as a promoter — a claim Hearn has fought since the Cardiff event was announced.
