Golden Knights Rebound in Nashville, Down Predators 5-2 on the Back-to-Back
The Vegas Golden Knights shook off Monday's loss in Minnesota by scoring three straight goals to beat the Nashville Predators 5-2 on Tuesday night at Bridgestone Arena, completing the first back-to-back of their season with a split.

Less than 24 hours after a six-minute collapse ended their four-game winning streak in Minnesota, the Vegas Golden Knights showed their resilience on the second night of a back-to-back. Vegas scored three unanswered goals to pull away from the Nashville Predators for a 5-2 victory at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday.
Brett Howden led the way with a goal and an assist, and Tomas Hertl, Jack Eichel, William Karlsson and Trevor Connelly also scored for the Golden Knights (6-2-0). Adin Hill made 25 saves, including a denial of Jack Drury on a first-period penalty shot that kept Vegas within striking distance early.
Ryan O'Reilly staked Nashville (2-2-2) to a 1-0 lead midway through the first period and added an assist, while Adam Edstrom tied the game 2-2 with his first career short-handed goal in the second. Karlsson's wrist shot late in the middle frame restored the lead, and Connelly and Howden finished the job in the third.
Rasmus Andersson chipped in two assists for Vegas, and Mitch Marner stretched his point streak to four games. The Golden Knights now head home having answered Monday's setback the right way — with two points and another strong third period.
