Four Teams Can Punch Championship Series Tickets in Wednesday's Playoff Quadruple-Header
For the last time this postseason, four MLB playoff games share one day, and the White Sox, Dodgers, Rays and Brewers can all clinch their league championship series spots.

Baseball gets its biggest single day of the postseason on Wednesday, with four division-series games and as many as four teams able to close out their series.
The action starts in Chicago, where the White Sox, up 2-0 in their ALDS, can complete the sweep of the Cleveland Guardians at home in the 4 p.m. ET start on TBS. At 6 p.m. ET on FS1, the Los Angeles Dodgers — leading the Braves 2-1 after Tuesday's win in Atlanta — can book a National League Championship Series spot with a victory at Truist Park.
The nightcap shifts back to the American League. The Tampa Bay Rays, already two wins up on the Yankees, can finish the sweep in the Bronx at 8 p.m. ET on TBS, while the Milwaukee Brewers get their chance to eliminate the San Diego Padres in Game 4 of their NLDS at 10 p.m. ET on FS1 after the Padres forced the issue with Tuesday's win.
The Padres, who have already been forced to improvise without closer Mason Miller, face the toughest task of the day. The NLCS is scheduled to begin Sunday, October 11, with the ALCS starting Monday, October 12 — meaning Wednesday's winners could know their next opponent before the day is out.
