Four Men Arrested Over February Shooting of 49ers Defensive Lineman Keion White

Police have arrested four men in connection with the February shooting of San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White, the Associated Press reported on Wednesday. White was hosting a private Super Bowl party at a San Francisco nightclub when the shooting occurred in the early morning hours of February 9, and he was treated at a local hospital for gunshot wounds to his ankle.

Investigators used surveillance footage and witness statements to identify multiple armed suspects who confronted White. San Francisco Police Chief Derrick Lew said the suspects were arrested over the past week with assistance from law enforcement agencies in Atlanta; Stockton, California; Irvine, California; and Los Angeles.

The most serious charges fall on 36-year-old Gregory Walker of Mountain House, California, who was arrested on October 9. Prosecutors say Walker fired the shots and will be charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm, along with charges for possessing a gun as a felon. Curtis Green, 35, was arrested in Irvine on October 7 and faces misdemeanor charges of brandishing a firearm and carrying a concealed and loaded gun in public. Two other men were arrested in other jurisdictions and are not yet in local custody.

White underwent surgery after the shooting and has returned to the field, appearing in all five of the 49ers' games this season with three sacks to his name.
