Falcons List Jake Matthews Questionable for Sunday Night Clash With Ravens
Jake Matthews' streak of 199 consecutive starts is in jeopardy after the Falcons listed their veteran left tackle as questionable with a groin injury ahead of Sunday night's showdown with the Ravens.

Jake Matthews' remarkable ironman streak is in serious jeopardy. The Atlanta Falcons listed their veteran left tackle as questionable for Sunday night's showdown with the Baltimore Ravens after he suffered a groin injury in Monday's win over the Saints.
Matthews made his 199th consecutive start in New Orleans, and while he moved up to full practice on Friday — a promising sign — head coach Kevin Stefanski said the team would wait to see how he responds before making any firm plans. Losing Matthews would be a major blow: the left tackle protects Michael Penix Jr.'s blind side for one of the league's hottest offenses, which has scored 80 points over its last two games since Penix returned to the lineup, with Bijan Robinson rushing for 339 yards in that span.
Matthews is not the only question mark. Defensive ends Za'Darius Smith (concussion/neck) and Samson Ebukam (hamstring) plus linebacker Divine Deablo (hamstring) are also listed as questionable, all limited in Friday's practice.
The Falcons, on a short week, face a wounded Ravens team that will be without Lamar Jackson, who was ruled out earlier this week with an ankle injury. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
