Eagles' Fire Sale? Brown, Woolen and Goedert 'Could Be Had' Before Deadline
Philadelphia's season has unravelled so far that several expiring-contract players, including Dallas Goedert, are reportedly available ahead of the November 10 trade deadline.

Having already traded Cam Jurgens amid a five-game losing streak, the Philadelphia Eagles figure to be active leading up to the November 10 trade deadline — and a number of their players could be on the move. According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, several Eagles players with expiring contracts "could be had" with just over a week remaining before the deadline. Breer specifically cited Marquise Brown, Riq Woolen and Dallas Goedert as contract-year players Philadelphia might deal. Brown has been a disappointment due to injuries that have limited him to two games, in which he has just two catches for 30 yards across 53 snaps. Woolen has been more miss than hit in coverage, while Goedert has remained productive in an otherwise disappointing passing game, ranking top three on the team in receptions (22), receiving yards (228) and touchdown receptions (two). Saquon Barkley is the biggest name who has been mentioned as a potential trade candidate, but Breer described that as less likely, in part because injuries have limited his availability this season and because trading him would incur a $26 million dead-cap charge in 2027. Breer also noted that the Eagles have told other teams defensive tackle Moro Ojomo, another player set to hit free agency after this season, is not available.
