Ducks Storm Winnipeg 5-1 to Snap Jets' Win Streak
Anaheim's fourth line ran riot at Canada Life Centre as the Ducks thumped the Jets 5-1 on Friday night, ending Winnipeg's three-game winning run.

The Anaheim Ducks bounced back in style on Friday night, riding a relentless fourth line to a 5-1 road win over the Winnipeg Jets at Canada Life Centre and snapping the hosts' three-game winning streak.
Judd Caulfield, Tim Washe and Mikael Granlund each recorded a goal and an assist, while Sam Colangelo and Nikita Nesterenko also found the net. Jeff Malott and Beckett Sennecke chipped in two assists apiece, and Lukas Dostal needed only 15 saves to steer the Ducks home.
Caulfield opened the scoring at 14:41 of the first period, pouncing on a rebound for his first NHL goal in his fourth career game — continuing Anaheim's streak of striking first in every game this season. Washe doubled the lead on a second-period 2-on-1, and the visitors pulled away with three third-period goals through Colangelo, Granlund and Nesterenko's empty-netter.
The win was a response to Wednesday's 5-2 home loss to Edmonton. Kyle Connor spoiled Anaheim's shutout bid — its first since October 2024 — at 10:36 of the third, while Clay Stevenson made 12 saves in his seventh NHL start for a Winnipeg side whose momentum came to an abrupt halt after three straight wins following their season-opening overtime loss in Boston.
