The Los Angeles Dodgers are heading back to the National League Championship Series. The Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 4-1 in Game 4 of the NLDS at Truist Park on Wednesday night, closing out the best-of-five series 3-1 and keeping alive their bid to become the first National League club to win three consecutive World Series.

Atlanta struck first when Michael Harris II scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the first inning. The Dodgers answered in the second, when Shohei Ohtani walked, stole second and advanced on a throwing error before scoring on Mauricio Dubón's dropped pop fly off the bat of Max Muncy to tie the game 1-1.

The game stayed level until the seventh, when Andy Pages delivered a two-run hit with two outs to give Los Angeles a 3-1 lead. The Dodgers tacked on an insurance run in the ninth to seal it. Teoscar Hernández stayed in the game after a frightening collision with the left-field wall chasing a fly ball in the sixth inning.

The night also ended a record streak for Los Angeles: Ohtani's second-inning run was the Dodgers' first postseason run this year that did not come via a home run, snapping a record run of 10 straight postseason runs scored on homers.
