Commanders Storm Back to Beat Eagles 27-10 and Hand Philly Sixth Straight Loss

The Washington Commanders produced a stunning Sunday Night Football comeback, rallying from 10-0 down to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10 and extend the defending NFC East champions' losing streak to six games. Philadelphia, already without several key players, scored the first ten points through a Saquon Barkley touchdown run, but Jayden Daniels settled after a shaky start to guide Washington to 27 unanswered points. The 26-year-old completed 16 of 29 passes for 217 yards and a touchdown, adding 23 rushing yards, for his first NFL win in more than a calendar year. A 27-yard punt return from Luke McCaffrey set up the go-ahead field goal just before half-time, and Washington never looked back. Philadelphia's last hope died in the fourth quarter when two penalties pushed them back from the Washington 13-yard line and a field-goal attempt clanged off the upright. The Eagles fall to 2-6, while Washington improves to 2-4-1 and moves within two games of the lead in a wide-open NFC East.
