Clippers Finish Strong, Beat Nuggets 122-110 at Intuit Dome
The LA Clippers wrapped up their preseason preparations with a 122-110 win over the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night at Intuit Dome, pulling away with a dominant third quarter.

The LA Clippers signed off their preseason in style, beating the Denver Nuggets 122-110 on Wednesday night at Intuit Dome in Inglewood.
It was level early — 24-24 after the first quarter, and the Clippers led by just three at halftime, 58-55. Then came the third quarter, where Los Angeles put the game away. A 38-26 burst over those twelve minutes opened up a double-digit gap that Denver, even with Nikola Jokic starting at center, never seriously threatened. The Nuggets took the final frame 29-26, but the damage was done.
The Clippers rotated deep into their roster. Darius Garland, Rui Hachimura and Isaiah Jackson started, with rookie Keaton Wagler also getting the nod, while the likes of Bradley Beal, Brandon Ingram and Max Strus sat out entirely. Denver leaned on its stars — Jokic, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun all started — but rested DeMar DeRozan.
Preseason results never count in the standings, but rhythm and combinations matter, and head coach Jeff Van Gundy will be happy with the offensive punch his side showed against a fellow Western Conference contender. With the 2026-27 regular season around the corner, the Clippers head into the games that matter with confidence intact.
