Clark's Brother to Caddie at Mexico Open After Wedding Ultimatum
Wyndham Clark's younger brother Brendan will caddie for him at this week's Mexico Open, after the reigning U.S. Open champion's regular caddie headed to a wedding in Italy.

Wyndham Clark has a new caddie on the bag at this week's VidantaWorld Mexico Open, and while the face might not look familiar to golf fans, it is very familiar to Clark himself. His younger brother Brendan will carry the bag after regular caddie Dave Pelekoudas, known as "Big Wave Dave," headed to a wedding in Italy. Brendan caddied for Clark twice during his early professional days on the Korn Ferry Tour, and the arrangement carries an extra edge: Brendan has a wedding of his own approaching, and Clark joked that his brother is "50 percent making the cut, so hopefully we get it to 66 percent this week." Clark said he would love a big week so he could hand his brother a healthy cheque to help pay for the wedding and honeymoon, recalling his brother's ultimatum: "I'm caddying for you, otherwise you're not coming to the wedding." Clark arrives in Mexico as the highest-ranked player in the field, on a globe-trotting stretch that has taken him from Japan to Mexico and will continue to South Africa for the Nedbank Challenge, plus the Skins Game on Black Friday.
