Canelo vs Mbilli Full Undercard Announced With Three Title Fights

The full undercard for Canelo Alvarez's October 31 return against Christian Mbilli has been confirmed, with three title fights supporting the WBC super middleweight main event at the ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Alvarez ends a one-year absence from the ring when he meets the unbeaten Mbilli — 29 wins from 30 fights — for more super middleweight glory. The Mexican legend last fought in September 2025, when he lost his WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO belts to Terence Crawford, and this marks his first step back toward the top of the division.

The chief support sees Jaime Munguia defend the WBA super middleweight title he won in May against Nikita Zon. Rafael Espinoza puts his WBO featherweight crown on the line in a mandatory defence against Lorenzo Parra, while Lindolfo Delgado meets Arthur Biyarslanov for the vacant IBF super lightweight title.

In all, ten fights are scheduled for the night, and every bout features a Mexican fighter as part of the card's "Mexico Versus The World" theme. With just over three weeks until the first bell, the announcement sets the stage for one of the biggest boxing nights of the autumn — and for Canelo, the beginning of the road back.
