Caliari Misses Weight by 4.5 Pounds, Forfeits 30 Percent of Purse as UFC 333 Fight Goes On
Nicolle Caliari was the only fighter of 28 to miss weight at the UFC 333 official weigh-ins in Abu Dhabi, coming in 4.5 pounds over the strawweight limit — but her bout with Iasmin Lucindo will still go ahead at catchweight.

The UFC 333 weigh-ins produced late drama on Friday morning when Nicolle Caliari tipped the scales way over the women's strawweight limit for her bout with Iasmin Lucindo.
Caliari came in at 120.5 pounds — 4.5 pounds above the 116-pound non-title limit — making her the only one of the 28 athletes on the 14-fight card to miss weight. As a result, she will forfeit 30 percent of her purse, with the deduction going to Lucindo, who hit exactly 115 pounds.
The bout will now proceed at catchweight, keeping the 14-fight card intact ahead of Saturday's event at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. All other fighters made weight at the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island weigh-ins, including the two title fights at the top of the card.
The main event sees Alexander Volkanovski defend the featherweight title against undefeated Movsar Evloev, while Petr Yan meets Merab Dvalishvili in their highly anticipated bantamweight title trilogy as the chief support act.
