Bulls Spoil Tyler Herro's Bucks Debut With 132-125 Comeback Win
Chicago erased a 15-point third-quarter deficit and closed on an 8-1 run to beat Milwaukee 132-125 at Fiserv Forum, spoiling Tyler Herro's first official game as a Buck despite his 34 points.

The Chicago Bulls ruined Tyler Herro's homecoming on Friday, rallying from a 15-point third-quarter deficit to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 132-125 at Fiserv Forum in a matinee staged to avoid clashing with World Series Game 1 across town. Chicago (1-1) poured in 44 points in the second quarter to wipe out the Bucks' lead, then seized control late when rookie Caleb Wilson scored six straight points in about 30 seconds of the fourth quarter to put the Bulls up 126-123, a lead they never gave back.
Milwaukee managed just one point over the final 2 minutes and 51 seconds after Myles Turner's putback had given the Bucks a 123-122 edge. Herro, playing his first official game for his hometown team, provided late fireworks with back-to-back three-pointers to briefly restore a 119-118 lead, finishing with 34 points on 12-of-24 shooting, including 5 of 10 from deep. Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Norman Powell led Chicago with 25 points and Jalen Smith added 14.
The Bucks (0-2) missed 12 free throws and four in the final four minutes in a foul-heavy contest with 45 personal fouls, two flagrant foul reviews and two coach's challenges that stretched the game to nearly three hours. Before tip, the Bucks honored former coach Don Nelson, who died Aug. 9, with fish-tie warmup shirts, a moment of silence and a halftime tribute video. After the game, Bucks players headed to American Family Field to watch the Brewers' World Series opener. Milwaukee flies to Philadelphia to face the 76ers on Oct. 24.
