Bulls Demolish Lions 57-15 as Stormers Down Sharks in South African URC Derby Double
The Bulls ran in nine tries to thrash the Lions in the Jukskei derby while the Stormers beat the Sharks 39-22, lifting three South African sides into the URC top five.

South Africa's United Rugby Championship contenders flexed their muscles on Saturday as the Bulls and Stormers produced dominant derby victories to surge up the standings. The Bulls were ruthless at Loftus Versfeld, hammering the Lions 57-15 in the Jukskei derby. Nine tries — including a double for No 8 Cameron Hanekom — ended the Lions' unbeaten start and lifted the Pretoria side from seventh to third on 11 points. Harold Vorster opened the scoring in the 10th minute, and the hosts never looked back after Johan Grobbelaar crossed and Morne van den Berg was sin-binned for a deliberate knock-down. In Cape Town, the Stormers defeated the previously unbeaten Sharks 39-22 in front of 42,368 fans at DHL Stadium. Six tries, including a brace for Hacjivah Dayimani and a player-of-the-match display from Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu on his first appearance of the campaign, avenged two coastal derby defeats to the Sharks from January and moved the Stormers up to fourth, level with the Bulls. The results leave three South African teams inside the top five, with the Sharks fifth and the Lions seventh. Edinburgh remain the early pace-setters on 14 points with Glasgow second, and attention now turns to Europe with the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup starting this weekend.
