Broncos Reportedly Going All Out to Land Jonathan Taylor as Colts Seek Second-Round Pick

The Denver Broncos are reportedly doing everything in their power to land Indianapolis Colts star running back Jonathan Taylor before the NFL trade deadline, according to reports emerging on Tuesday. The Broncos, fresh from a big win over the Kansas City Chiefs, are said to have pledged to exhaust every avenue to acquire the All-Pro back, who has become the biggest name on the trade market as Indianapolis tears down its roster. The Colts have already traded away guard Quenton Nelson and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, and NFL insider Jason La Canfora reported that the club is seeking a second-round pick for Taylor, a price one general manager described as reasonable. La Canfora also reported that Indianapolis could make three or four more trades, with a high-ranking team official saying ownership is prepared to rebuild the roster from the ground up. Taylor is not short of suitors, with Seattle also frequently linked and several other teams credited with interest, but Denver's public pursuit has put the Broncos at the front of the conversation. With the trade deadline falling on November 10, the coming days will decide whether the Colts cash in their biggest remaining asset or keep Taylor as the centrepiece of their rebuild.
