Brentford Mark 100th Gtech Game With 2-0 Win Over Forest as Milenkovic Own Goal and Thiago Strike Seal It
Brentford celebrated their 100th Premier League match at the Gtech Community Stadium with a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest, ending a four-match winless run.

Brentford gave their milestone afternoon the ending it deserved, beating Nottingham Forest 2-0 at the Gtech Community Stadium in the club's 100th Premier League game at the ground. The win was the Bees' third of the league season and snapped a four-match run without a victory, while Forest's miserable form under Oliver Glasner continued. The breakthrough arrived on the half-hour mark, and it was cruel on Forest defender Nikola Milenkovic. Dango Ouattara skipped past Murillo down the right and fired a low cross across goal, only for Milenkovic, standing at the near post, to deflect it past his own goalkeeper Matz Sels. Brentford nearly doubled the lead before the break when Mathias Jensen's free-kick rattled the crossbar. Forest, who managed 15 shots but only one on target, had their chances after the restart. Substitute Ryan Yates planted a header over the bar from Morgan Gibbs-White's cross, and Liam Delap blazed over from close range earlier in the game. The visitors were made to pay with 14 minutes left, when substitute Jaidon Anthony burst down the right and crossed for Igor Thiago, whose finish deflected off the luckless Milenkovic and in off the underside of the crossbar. It was Thiago's second goal of the season and his second in as many matches.
