Brady Reportedly Out of UFC Vegas 124 Main Event Against Bonfim
Sean Brady has reportedly withdrawn from his November 7 UFC main event against Gabriel Bonfim because of an injury, with the UFC now searching for a replacement.

Sean Brady has reportedly withdrawn from his November 7 UFC main event against Gabriel Bonfim because of an injury, leaving the Brazilian's next assignment in doubt nine days before the Las Vegas card. Brazilian MMA reporter Laerte Viana disclosed the withdrawal in a social media post on Thursday, saying the UFC is looking for another welterweight opponent for Bonfim. The report does not specify the injury, when it happened, whether surgery is required, or how long Brady will be out, and no formal UFC cancellation notice had been issued at the time of reporting. Brady, who holds a 19-2 record, was coming off a decisive victory over Joaquin Buckley, while Bonfim, at 20-1, is riding a five-fight winning streak that includes a win over former champion Belal Muhammad. The November 7 card at the Meta APEX is headlined by the welterweight bout, with a strawweight clash between Tatiana Suarez and Virna Jandiroba also on the main card. If the withdrawal is confirmed, Bonfim would need a new opponent on short notice or risk losing his place at the top of the bill.
