Boozer's Career-High 27 Keeps Grizzlies Perfect at 6-0 With Rout of Kings
Rookie Cameron Boozer scored a career-high 27 points as the Memphis Grizzlies stayed the NBA's only unbeaten team with a 136-105 win over the Sacramento Kings.

The Memphis Grizzlies are still the NBA's last unbeaten team after rookie Cameron Boozer poured in a career-high 27 points in a 136-105 rout of the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night. The 6-0 start matches the best opening stretch in franchise history, first set in the 2014-15 season, and came after Houston's loss on Friday left Memphis alone without a defeat. Boozer shot 8-of-14 from the floor and grabbed nine rebounds, while Isaiah Stewart added a season-high 24 points off the bench in just 21 minutes. Memphis got 81 points from its reserves and made 19 of 38 three-point attempts, pulling away with a 42-point third quarter after leading 66-55 at half-time. The Grizzlies did it without starting point guard Ty Jerome and back-up Scotty Pippen Jr., both sidelined with back injuries. Sacramento fell to 0-6 despite a career-high 38 points from rookie guard Darius Acuff Jr., who hit nine three-pointers on 14 attempts. The Kings remain one of only two winless teams in the league, while Memphis heads into the rest of the weekend as the team everyone else is chasing.
