Australia Complete 3-0 ODI Whitewash of Bangladesh as Mooney Reaches 100 Caps
Australia sealed a 3-0 ODI series whitewash over Bangladesh with an eight-wicket win in the third ODI in Brisbane, on a day when Beth Mooney became the 10th Australian woman to play 100 one-day internationals.

Australia wrapped up a perfect series in Brisbane on Wednesday, crushing Bangladesh by eight wickets in the third and final one-day international to complete a 3-0 whitewash.
Bangladesh batted first at Allan Border Field and were bowled out for 172 in 49.5 overs. Half-centuries from Sharmin Akhter and Shorna Akter gave the tourists something to defend, but Megan Schutt ripped through the innings with four wickets for just 16 runs, sending down five maidens in a masterclass of control. Georgia Wareham's sharp gully catch to remove Murshida Khatun set the tone early.
The chase was a formality. Australia raced to 175 for two in just 22.4 overs, with 164 balls to spare. Annabel Sutherland struck an unbeaten 74 from 52 balls, Ellyse Perry made 65 not out from 64, and the pair shared an unbroken 137-run stand that broke the visitors' resistance completely.
The day also belonged to Beth Mooney. The wicketkeeper-batter, dismissed for 21 by debutant Disha Biswas, walked out for her 100th ODI appearance — only the 10th Australian woman to reach the milestone — having built a career of 3,309 runs at nearly 50 apiece since her 2016 debut.
Bangladesh leave Australia winless but with genuine memories: Sobhana Mostary's record 118 in the second ODI, the country's first century against Australia. The series counted toward the ICC Women's Championship, where Australia remain the team to beat.
